A year after James bought the house the ceiling fell down in the master bedroom, right on the bed. It was truly a sign to get started on working on the house. The master bedroom also really exhibits a lot of what we had to deal with in the rest of the house.

All the wood work around the doors and windows was in bad shape.

The paint was all chipped up.

It took a lot of hard work to get it cleaned up for painting.

Even the walls required a lot of work.

After it was completed it looked like a completely different room.

I love the gray walls!
